Jeffrey Sell

President

Jeff Sell  is the founder and president of Jeffrey Sell Associates, Inc. and is responsible for client relationships, business strategy and the overall management of each of JSA's projects. In his professional background as a licensed architect and professional project manager, Jeff has significant experience on a diverse range of building types and sizes both locally and on a national level. He has successfully managed multi-disciplined teams on complex and innovative, multi-million dollar projects achieving notable milestones and being recognized with numerous distinguished awards in the design, engineering and development communities. As a proven leader in the entire development process Jeff has overseen nearly $500 million in project design and construction.

Before founding JSA, Jeff was a vice president at Project Management Advisors, a Chicago based real estate consulting firm. At PMA Jeff led project teams on architecturally significant and award winning projects like Case Study 1875, One Rincon Hill and the Milwaukee Intermodal Station. As an outgrowth of his many successes, Jeff was asked to establish and manage PMA's downtown San Francisco office and lead their most high profile project; One Rincon Hill. During his tenure, PMA's SF office became the project management leader in the high-rise residential market in the Bay Area.

Prior to project management, Jeff practiced architecture in Chicago first at Skidmore Ownings & Merrill and then at Solomon Cordwell Buenz. At SOM he worked on architecture and planning projects throughout the world and two of his projects were recognized with national AIA awards. As an Associate at SCB Jeff gained significant experience on a diverse range of building project types and sizes throughout the United States. His varied background in design, construction and development enables him to bring a confident and balanced perspective when evaluating complex issues and solving problems.

Jeff grew up in Wisconsin and received bachelor and masters degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He and his wife Shelly have two daugters and live in the Ravenswood Manor neighborhood of Chicago. He is an avid runner, urban gardener and is active within the local community including serving on the Capital Campaign Committee of St. Matthias Parish.
