Having outgrown their original weekend retreat this young couple with a growing family decided to expand their home. A two story addition was added that contained a large playroom, powder room, bar area and screened porch on the first floor and several new bedrooms/bathrooms and a laundry on the second floor. The two floors were linked together by a light filled central staircase with several built-in bookcases and window seats on each floor. The beautiful addition maintained the high quality finish level and refined detailing of the original home and successfully provided the additonal space the family required.
